Peace2Peace

peace2peace initiative

Gerald Holtom designed the Nuclear Disarmament logo in 1958, which later became the international peace symbol. The peace2peace initiative represents another step toward achieving peace on Earth and in Space, as well as banishing global conflict forever. Our intention is to place peace signs everywhere as a reminder that peace is present; we simply need to embrace it, and we will. It’s Time for the Era of Peace.

Let’s signify that peace is a fundamental part of our daily lives by making it visible and integral to our communities. By installing authorized Peace Posts, Peace Signs, and designated Peace Parking at hospitals, schools, corporate offices, police stations, military bases, grocery stores, and more, we will boldly demonstrate our commitment to a harmonious society. Together, we can prioritize peace where it matters most!

The International Peace Parking Symbol

Accessible and peaceful parking spaces give people a sense of safety and comfort. It may seem trivial, but it’s an important step forward.

LISTEN TO THE VOICE that is within yourself, the voice that tells you that mankind can live in peace, that mankind can live in harmony, that it can live with the respect for the rights and dignity of all human beings. And use your talents – your very, very, considerable talents – to make this a better world, a more compassionate world for all of us.

– John G. Kemeny, Commencement Speech, June 14th, 1981, 13th President of Dartmouth College. Hungarian born American Mathematician, Computer Scientist, and educator. Pioneered the use of computers in education. Co developed BASIC programming language—mathematical assistant to Albert Einstein.

“In these unprecedented times, let us pause, reflect, and remember all mankind is your brother and you are your brother’s keeper.”
